Capable of training you in multiple different skills while still training adaptability. Most useful for defense and reactive touches, but also doubles as an arm swing trainer. Would recommend for most beach athletes.
Volleyball coach here!! I can’t tell you how much the volleyboard has changed my training and the abilities of my athletes! So many of my athletes went up a level this club season! And so much of that has to do with the Volleyboard! The ability to run so many drills- going up and down in reaction time to simulate real game senario is incredible! My beginner libs use non reactive or medium! High level? Make it more reactive! The personalized training with this is incredible and I fully think EVERY CLUB should invent in a volleyboard to bring their kids to the next level!!
I absolutely love my VolleyBoard! It helps me get consistent reps and also work on my defense. I also love how it’s so easy to set up, and it only took me less than 5 minute.
We are really disappointed in the product. It doesn’t rebound well at all. Definitely not suitable for younger athletes but even more experienced are going to find this less than ideal. Do not recommend. Super disappointed given the price we spent ($750). I’d love to connect with owners to discuss the product and maybe they can improve it.
Hi there,
I’m really sorry to hear this was your experience, and I truly appreciate you taking the time to share it.
The VolleyBoard is designed a bit differently than traditional rebounders. Instead of maximizing bounce, it’s built to absorb and redirect the ball more like a real player would, which is what allows athletes to train reaction time and control in a more game-like way. Because of that, it can feel very different, especially if you’re expecting a high, clean rebound.
That said, I completely understand how that could feel disappointing given the investment, and I’d really value the chance to connect with you directly, learn more about how you were using it, and see how we can make this right.
Feel free to reach out anytime. I’d genuinely appreciate the conversation.

I think this is a great practice tool! My daughter is only 12, so she has to hit pretty hard for it to rebound properly, but it may also be initial user error. Overall I think it will help her beach volleyball game!
Hi Meghan,
Really appreciate this, and thanks for taking the time to share and include the video!
You’re spot on. For younger athletes, it can take a little time to get used to since the board is designed to absorb the ball more like a real platform rather than just kick it back. That’s actually where a lot of the training value comes in…it encourages a stronger, more confident arm swing over time.
Love hearing that she’s already getting reps in at 12, that’s a great age to start building those habits. I think you’ll see it pay off as she sticks with it.
If you ever want a few simple drills to help her ease into it, feel free to reach out anytime.
Best,
