We are really disappointed in the product. It doesn’t rebound well at all. Definitely not suitable for younger athletes but even more experienced are going to find this less than ideal. Do not recommend. Super disappointed given the price we spent ($750). I’d love to connect with owners to discuss the product and maybe they can improve it.
Hi there,
I’m really sorry to hear this was your experience, and I truly appreciate you taking the time to share it.
The VolleyBoard is designed a bit differently than traditional rebounders. Instead of maximizing bounce, it’s built to absorb and redirect the ball more like a real player would, which is what allows athletes to train reaction time and control in a more game-like way. Because of that, it can feel very different, especially if you’re expecting a high, clean rebound.
That said, I completely understand how that could feel disappointing given the investment, and I’d really value the chance to connect with you directly, learn more about how you were using it, and see how we can make this right.
Feel free to reach out anytime. I’d genuinely appreciate the conversation.

I think this is a great practice tool! My daughter is only 12, so she has to hit pretty hard for it to rebound properly, but it may also be initial user error. Overall I think it will help her beach volleyball game!
Hi Meghan,
Really appreciate this, and thanks for taking the time to share and include the video!
You’re spot on. For younger athletes, it can take a little time to get used to since the board is designed to absorb the ball more like a real platform rather than just kick it back. That’s actually where a lot of the training value comes in…it encourages a stronger, more confident arm swing over time.
Love hearing that she’s already getting reps in at 12, that’s a great age to start building those habits. I think you’ll see it pay off as she sticks with it.
If you ever want a few simple drills to help her ease into it, feel free to reach out anytime.
Best,

Daughter used it a few times . She didn’t like it and I am bummed
Hi Krissy,
Thanks for giving it a try and for the honest feedback! I know that’s a bummer when it doesn’t click right away.
One thing we’ve found, especially with younger athletes, is that if they’re looking for a high, straight-up rebound for easy setting reps, the VolleyBoard can feel a bit different. It’s actually designed to absorb the ball more like a real platform, so it rewards a more aggressive, confident arm swing rather than creating extra bounce.
For players still building that strength or just wanting a simple high rebound, a traditional pitch-back style rebounder can sometimes be a better fit, and that’s totally okay.
That said, if your daughter sticks with it, many athletes find it really helps build confidence in their swing and overall ball control over time.
I’d be more than happy to help with a few simple drills or talk through options with you to make this right. Please feel free to reach out anytime.
Best,

Why $750.00???
Hi Brett,
First off, I apologize for the delayed response, and I appreciate you taking the time to leave a review.
That’s a fair question. The price really comes down to what the VolleyBoard is designed to do compared to a standard rebounder. It’s fully adjustable from predictable to highly reactive, allowing athletes to train more game-like situations instead of just repetitive touches.
It’s also built to be portable, quick to set up, and durable enough for both beach and indoor use with an all-aluminum and stainless steel frame. The goal was to create a long-term training tool athletes can grow with, not just a one-dimensional rebounder.
That said, I completely understand it may not be the right fit for everyone depending on what they’re looking for, and I’m always happy to help answer questions or point people in the right direction.
Appreciate the feedback,
Jon – Pier Bounce
This thing has made a huge difference in the amount of practice reps I can get. Can’t recommend it enough!
